We are now looking for a passionate and driven lead cold kitchen chef for our restaurant at AstraZeneca, where the ambition is to become the best staff restaurant in the world!

About the role:

As a lead cold kitchen chef, you will be responsible for leading, coordinating, and delivering exceptional catering solutions that meet both our high-quality standards and sustainability goals. You play a key role in ensuring that all events are a gastronomic success.

Your responsibilities include:

• Planning and executing catering services for both internal and external customers with high quality and professionalism.
• Collaborating with the head chef and the rest of the team to develop offerings and special events.
• Responsible for strategic resource planning and management to reduce waste and optimize the use of raw materials through daily reconciliation.
• Coordinating operational work around catering services and cold kitchen, as well as managing orders and deliveries of goods.
• Maintaining good communication with customers and the team to ensure that everything is carried out according to agreements.
• Working according to HACCP standards and contributing to maintaining good order in the kitchen.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has solid experience in leadership, ordering, and catering within larger operations.
• Is a creative and dedicated problem solver with a strong focus on sustainability and quality, with knowledge of traditional and modern cooking.
• Has excellent organizational skills and is comfortable leading and coordinating teams alongside the head chef and sous chef.
• Possesses good communication skills and can work well with different teams.
• Is driven and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously with sharp focus.
• Has relevant knowledge to manage our systems.

About the position:

This is a permanent position with an initial probationary period. The work is full-time 100% daytime, but some evening and weekend work may occur.
