For this position, we are looking for someone with a technical education, good problem-solving skills, a technical interest, an aptitude for computers, and basic tool skills.

Your role

As a technician, you will primarily work with service assignments and installation of security alarms and digital locks for customers throughout the city of Stockholm. You will also work in the office with support, troubleshooting, and analysis of technical alarms, mainly in our web portal where all technical data is collected. We have contact with customers and home care providers via phone and email.

The work as a technician is varied and mainly performed at the homes of the elderly. You plan your day based on your daily schedule and the needs that arise. The work area covers the entire city of Stockholm. Technicians are on duty every day of the year, and you will work 38.25 hours per week according to a rotating schedule, which means you will also work one weekend per month and have days off during the week. The Installation and Service unit currently consists of about 30 employees, of which 22 are technicians for security alarms and keyless home care.

Your skills and experience

For this position, we are looking for someone with technical competence and solid experience with computers and IT. You should be able to independently analyze and troubleshoot IT systems. A background in technical high school or university education, e.g., Electrical and Energy Program, is preferred.

As a technician, you will work with service assignments and installation of security alarms and digital locks for customers throughout the city of Stockholm. You will also work in the office with IT-related troubleshooting and analysis of technical alarms, mainly in our web portals where all technical data is collected – therefore, good IT skills are required for you to enjoy this assignment.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A high school or university education with a technical focus or other relevant experience
• Tool skills
• Good knowledge and experience from IT systems and logical troubleshooting
• Good technical competence and experience working with electronics and mechanics
• A driving license and is comfortable driving in, among other places, the city center
• Experience handling computers and good Office skills
• Very good knowledge of the Swedish language
• Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing

The work requires you to have your own drive and a good ability to work independently; you must be able to lead yourself and often take personal responsibility for your work. You collaborate with several professionals in the administration and meet daily with customers and other practitioners, so it is important that you are service-oriented and have a positive attitude towards collaboration. It is also important that you are flexible and meticulous, as our customers depend on the technology working in their homes, and you may be in many different places in one day. We also want you to be secure and stable and distinguish between personal and professional matters. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

The employment is full-time (weekly working hours 38.25) and the working hours are scheduled between 07:45-16:35.
