Then you might be the one we are looking for for a combined position as a kitchen assistant and cleaner for our operations in Klövsjö. The work is varied and depends on the conditions at each workplace.

Job Responsibilities

In Bergs Municipality's kitchen and cleaning operations, we focus on the guest. One of our main goals is to prepare food where our guests are and to ensure that everyone, young and old, receives their meals with joy and curiosity. We also strive to ensure that everything we prepare and serve is done in an environmentally friendly manner, from a local, sustainable, and nutritious perspective. Through good and effective cleaning, we provide suitable facilities for our guests so they can perform their work and achieve their goals.

As a cleaner, you will work with daily cleaning including deep cleaning, floor care, and window cleaning. The work is independent and is done according to established routines, guidelines, and checklists. In the role of kitchen assistant, you will prepare good and nutritious food for the children, youth, and adults working in the municipality's schools, preschools, and elderly care. This mainly involves food preparation, as well as planning, executing, and following up on food orders and other kitchen items. As a kitchen assistant, you will also have overall responsibility for maintaining good hygiene in the kitchen environment.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with some form of upper secondary education in cleaning, kitchen, large-scale cooking, restaurant, or another area we consider equivalent. Post-secondary education in corresponding fields is an advantage. We also welcome those who lack formal education but have practical experience from work in kitchens and/or cleaning. Experience with basic computer work is a requirement, as this is used regularly for various forms of documentation during the workday. You need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, as well as a driver's license for a passenger car (B-license).

Bergs Municipality is a Sámi administrative municipality, and we consider knowledge of the South Sámi language and culture as an advantage.
