You will belong to

You will belong to the Unit for the Management of Protected Nature, which consists of about 20 people working with nature management, property maintenance, and outdoor life in the county's nature reserves and other protected areas.

Your tasks

The County Administrative Board of Östergötland is responsible for the management of over 300 nature reserves and is now looking for a person seeking a varied and practical job. You will be based at our facility outside Väderstad, where there are staff facilities, storage, and workshops.

You will be part of a workgroup of two to six people who work practically with tasks such as mowing, fencing, clearing, and maintaining buildings and facilities for outdoor life. Your tasks will also include supervising, cleaning, and managing parking lots and visitor facilities in many nature reserves.

Requirements for the position:

• You should have experience from professional practical work in the green sectors, e.g., parks, agriculture, or forestry.
• You must have a B driver's license.

Meritorious:

• If you have extended competence in a relevant area, e.g., nature conservation, carpentry, or cultural heritage management.
• If you have experience working in nature reserves.

About the employment

1-2 vacancies. Permanent full-time employment starting with a six-month probation period. Start date according to agreement.
