The Culture Unit is looking for café staff for Ornässtugan

Ornässtugan has a museum where guided tours are offered, as well as a café where everything is baked on-site. We have a special focus on local historical fika and baked goods that are gluten-free, egg-free, and dairy-free.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Café work includes preparing sandwiches, fika, dishwashing, and sales. Cash reporting, local and area maintenance are also part of the job.

Working hours: scheduled shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

The position is a fixed-term employment from June to August 2025. Training for new staff will take place during the first working days.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in café or food service is an advantage. We prefer applicants with interests in café, service, tourism, history, and culture.

We are looking for someone who is service-oriented, meticulous, flexible, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment both independently and with others. We are a small team where everyone's work is important. A requirement is excellent language skills in Swedish and good skills in English for interaction with both international and national visitors.

During the interview, you as a candidate need to provide proof of citizenship in Sweden/EU/EES or a valid work residence permit.
