The task of a security guard is to monitor protected objects and protect against sabotage, espionage, terrorist crimes, and serious robbery. A security guard has special powers to inspect vehicles, perform body searches, seize items, reject, and detain individuals present at a protected object. Protected objects are activities that are essential for society to function in peace, crisis, or war. Examples of protected objects include a nuclear power plant, an airport, or a military facility.

We offer you a chance to be part of creating the future security guards in Sweden, where teamwork, training, and exercises are a significant part of the job beyond the regular assignment. Together, we will work in teams and collaborate with authorities, clients, and other stakeholders to maintain and create the safest and most secure assignment in Sweden.

The work consists of patrolling and stationary monitoring, where high demands are placed on you as an individual to maintain a high level of security at the site. Good collaboration skills with colleagues and clients, as well as the ability to make sound decisions independently, are essential. Being communicative and physically fit is required to thrive in the role. If you are a social, empathetic, and positive person with inner security and a natural drive to help, you could be one of the candidates we are looking for.

Requirements for this position:

• No criminal record
• Drug-free
• High school diploma
• Good Swedish in speech and writing
• Organized finances
• Driver's license B
• At least 18 years old

It is particularly meritorious if you already have one or more of the industry-specific training required to work here. You will have the opportunity to check off the training you have in the selection questions. If you do not have any of the required industry training, we will cover the training costs.

Our operations run around the clock, year-round, and may involve long shifts and inconvenient working hours. Avarn Security offers salaries according to the collective agreement between Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union. Since Avarn Security is a security-classified company, a security assessment with a background check is conducted according to the Security Protection Act.
