Björkbacken is a family-owned business consisting of a cabin village, camping, hostel, hotel, and restaurant. It is a modern facility with a homely character, run by a family that places great importance on service, personal interaction, and a positive experience.

The hotel has 42 rooms in various categories, 46 cabins, 6 hostel rooms, and over 150 camping sites. During the summer, the demand on the facility is high, and at most, about 95 employees work in the different areas.

We all work together as a team towards common goals, and our ambition is for every guest to feel comfortable and have a great experience with us.

To fit as a camping host, you need to be responsible, meticulous, and able to work both in a group and independently. You should be able to take initiative and proactively see what needs to be done. It is important that you are service-oriented and have a friendly demeanor towards our guests. It is an advantage if you hold an AM driving license.

We are looking for someone with a strong sense of service, who is thorough and enjoys spreading joy among both guests and other employees.

As a camping host at Björkbacken, you will work with various tasks depending on the weather. Responsibilities include: lawn mowing, water sampling in pools, cleaning the water play area, weeding, and general maintenance of the outdoor environment. You may also assist the reception staff by guiding camping guests to the right place, changing light bulbs in the cabins, and more. In all our positions, you may be called upon to help where needed during busy times, and you may also receive tasks in other areas.
