We at Elite Hotels of Sweden have now opened our latest ambitious hotel venture – Ad Astra by Elite at the beautiful Snäckviken in Södertälje. Our first-class, international destination hotel with a premium approach is bringing the Riviera to Sweden, and the work to create an authentic experience influenced by the Mediterranean gems such as Italy and Southern France is in full swing. The concept, inspired by the Mediterranean and the Riviera, includes a spectacular piazza with an adjoining orangery, several restaurants, bars, a cinema, activities, and entertainment. The hotel also features an extensive spa inspired by the ancient Roman baths, with a garden and three pools both indoors and outdoors. The spa, which is part of the company's own spa concept Vana Spa, is the largest to date. In addition, the hotel offers twelve conference rooms and 161 rooms and suites in nine different categories. Located on the quay by Snäckviken in Astra's former headquarters, Ad Astra by Elite is a tribute to the luxury, lifestyle, and culinary culture of the Riviera. The name is Latin and means 'to the stars', which also symbolizes Elite Hotels of Sweden's ambition with both the hotel and the level of service.

We are now looking for serving staff, on an as-needed basis, meaning a part-time position, for our various restaurant units & banquet facilities.

You should preferably have previously worked as a waiter/waitress to apply for this position. We would also like you to have a hotel background or have previously worked in larger organizations with a fast pace and various units and departments. You have a quality mindset and are a great organizer with personality, integrity, and a good sense of humor.

Your focus as serving staff will be on welcoming & serving our guests, both hotel & conference guests as well as external ones, ensuring hygiene and guest satisfaction, and of course also efficiency during your shifts.

As a person, we appreciate that you are unpretentious, clear, humble, and a responsive team player. You are flexible in your way of working, with the ability to quickly adapt to new situations and challenges. You can handle guests with a twinkle in your eye even when the pace is high, and you are social and pleasant.

What is important to us is that you have a burning interest in hospitality, food, and drink, that you are a team player who is interested in making the whole operation work, and that you understand that the role of a waiter/waitress is an important ambassador role in which you represent the entire Ad Astra by Elite.

All our serving staff report directly to the head waiter of Ad Astra by Elite and will work very closely with all colleagues throughout the hotel, especially within Food & Beverage.

Collaboration between the kitchen, dining room, bar, and other departments in the hotel is a guiding principle and an expressed necessity to provide our bar, restaurant & hotel guests with a memorable and unique experience.
