In Sweden, they have an experienced service team from Malmö to Gävle – and now they want to grow further. Their products are designed to increase productivity, optimize storage space, and improve efficiency for their customers. Kardex offers customers everything from individual storage machines to large systems, integrated with e.g. robots and conveyors.

About the position

Kardex is looking for a service technician for their Swedish service team, based in Gothenburg and surrounding areas. You will work with service and support of their storage machines at customer sites, which means you will travel a lot within Sweden – with hotel stays as a natural part of the job. You will work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues across the country.

Responsibilities:

• Maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs
• New installations and relocations of our automated storage solutions
• Customer contact and technical support

You will work from home and should live in or around Gothenburg to be able to quickly be on-site with customers when needed.
You will be traveling approximately 1 week per month.

We are looking for someone who

You are technically curious, self-driven, and enjoy taking responsibility. It is an advantage if you have experience from the industry, especially within elevators. You have a natural service mindset and appreciate a role where customer contact is a central part. Since the position involves some physical work, we prefer that you are in good physical shape.

Requirements:

• Experience as a service technician/elevator technician/elevator installer
• Driver's license (B)
• Good physical condition (heavy lifting may occur)
• Good computer skills and basic understanding of network communication
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Meritorious:

• Forklift license / scissor lift license
• Experience working at heights
• Knowledge of PLC controls
• Background in industrial service
• Experience in customer-facing technical roles
• Interest in logistics and automation
