As a Revit Responsible EL/Model Manager EL/Electrical Consultant at Ramboll, you will be a key player in our global investment in property projects. Your role as Revit Responsible/Model Manager means driving Ramboll's technical development, especially within Revit EL, as well as the development of colleagues in the team and nationally within the technical area.
To succeed in the role of Revit Responsible EL/Model Manager EL/Electrical Consultant, you need to be technically skilled, have a good understanding of the construction process, and be able to work effectively in a team.
Your ability to communicate and coordinate with other disciplines will be crucial for the success of the project.
Your New Position
You will be part of the unit, Transformation & Public Buildings Stockholm, which consists of about 40 employees, of which about 4 employees are based at our office in Stockholm. We are part of the global Service Line, Transformation & Public Buildings, which means we primarily focus on projects within properties such as schools, offices, housing, shopping centers, etc. – projects that are often solved in multidisciplinary teams.

This means that you as an employee have access to a strong network of colleagues with various specialist skills and international experience.
In the role of Revit Responsible EL/Model Manager EL/Electrical Consultant, you will drive and be responsible for the technical area's development in Revit both through project work and as support to employees within the EL technical area.
Alongside the role of Revit Responsible/Model Manager, you will also work as an Electrical Consultant in property projects. The role also includes designing electrical and telecommunication systems in various assignments within properties.
Examples of Work Tasks:
- Modeling and Documentation: Create and manage Revit models within the electrical discipline, including but not limited to power supply, lighting, and telecommunications.
- Coordination: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other specialists to ensure
that all disciplines are correctly integrated and coordinated in the project.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks of models and drawings to ensure they meet internal standards and customer requirements.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance within Revit to the team and other relevant parties.
- Updating and Maintenance: Update and maintain Revit models and ensure that
all changes are documented correctly.
- Training: Train and guide colleagues in the team on Revit and model management.
About You
- The ability to build relationships with colleagues, clients, and partners.
- Interest in sustainability, digitalization, and innovation.
- Good communication skills in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
- Interest in developing our collaboration with colleagues both within Sweden and globally.
- Industry Experience: Experience from the construction and civil engineering industry with a focus on electrical installations.
- Communicative: Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with various disciplines and stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Ability to identify and solve technical problems and challenges effectively.
- Attention to Detail: High degree of accuracy and detail focus to ensure the quality of work.
- Expertise in Revit:
- At least 3 years of experience working with Revit within the EL discipline.
- Experience in developing EL tools within Revit (development of datasets and plug-ins, etc.)
- Role as model manager (Model building, model responsibility in larger assignments)
- Education: Certification or training in Revit. Experience with BIM and other building information modeling tools.
