Turinge-Taxinge Parish is part of the Church of Sweden and geographically coincides with Nykvarn Municipality.

The parish has three churches and two cemeteries, with a total of about 25 employees. Within the cemetery management, we always strive to find ways to develop our work, both in terms of green areas, landscaping, and service. We want to maintain the high standard we have established and would like your help in this work. We are now looking for cemetery workers for a seasonal employment in 2025 for 6 months, starting on April 21, 2025.

Responsibilities

As a cemetery worker, you will be part of our team that takes care of the burial sites with all the tasks involved in cemetery maintenance and burial operations, such as mowing, hedge trimming, grave care, and planting.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with experience working in a cemetery, park, or similar. Education in the green sector is a significant plus. The position requires you to be service-oriented, meticulous, and structured. You should have good physical fitness, be outgoing, and view the team's work from a holistic perspective. You must have the ability and understanding to meet grieving individuals in a dignified manner.

A valid driver's license (B) is required for the position. Technical knowledge for handling gardening equipment and a driver's license for tool carriers is advantageous. We care about our employees, which is why we offer wellness benefits and one hour of wellness time per week during working hours.
