Retail Partner is a Nordic distribution company responsible for the sales of several market-leading brands in the Swedish market, such as Kleenex, TIGI, and Scholl.
Sales are conducted to customers primarily through three channels:
- Grocery trade
- Pharmacies
- Other customers such as ÖoB, Normal, and Åhléns
The team is now looking for another colleague!
About the roleIn this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and take on significant responsibility. It is a smaller organization, which gives you insight into the entire process. The organization is characterized by a strong team spirit with a fast pace and high engagement.
The company has a total of 20 employees, of which three are responsible for the Swedish operations and are based in the office in Lomma. This role reports to the Country Sales Manager Sweden.
Approximately once a week, the team is in Copenhagen to meet and collaborate with colleagues in management, marketing, and logistics.
There are more opportunities than limitations here; the company is in strong growth and needs to strengthen its team in Sweden.
Responsibilities- Develop and drive customers centrally
- Develop and optimize the product range
- Ensure prices and commercial conditions
- Develop and optimize planograms
- Negotiate investments
- Category/analyze (competitors, gap fills, opportunities, etc.)
- Forecasting
- KPI planning for external sales force with a focus on sales development, distribution, and visibility in stores
- Develop tools and presentations for the sales force in consultation with marketing/KAM
- Follow up on KPIs for each sales cycle
- Ongoing dialogue with those responsible for the sales force - and also directly with the salespeople
We want you to have the following:
- Post-secondary education
- Experience in selling consumer products to retail - preferably grocery and/or pharmacy
- Proficient in the Office suite, with good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Swedish and English spoken and written, and understanding Danish is an advantage
It is a plus, but not essential, if you also have experience in:
- Sales to central customers
- Negotiation situations
- E-commerce or omnichannel offerings
You should be driven by working results-oriented, proactively, and be used to building relationships. We are looking for a person who dares and has a positive attitude towards learning and developing commercially.
About Retail PartnerRetail Partner is a Nordic distribution company founded in Denmark in 2013. Our ambition is to establish long-term partnerships with brand suppliers of consumer goods seeking a local partner in the Nordic countries. We work with other companies' products as if they were our own.
We focus on the categories of household, personal care, beauty, and health. Currently, we distribute products from Kimberly-Clark, Scholl, Frosch, Kenvue, Swedish Match, Avivir, Elida Beauty, and Dermapharm.
Our services include customer and Key Account Management, category management, sales force activities, logistics activities, and marketing. We cover all relevant FMCG channels including grocery trade, selective trade, discount, DIY, e-commerce, pharmacies, and health food stores.
