Sweden's northernmost emergency department is looking for you! Welcome to emergency care in Kiruna. Here, nurses, nursing assistants, and doctors work together. We take care of patients who come in through the emergency department or via ambulance. We are looking for
We are looking for a licensed nurse. It is advantageous if you have further education in relevant specialties within emergency care. We place great importance on your personal qualities. You are engaged, want to develop, and are not afraid of new challenges. You appreciate a varied pace where no day is the same. You act in a considerate and thoughtful manner, and we see that you make assessments and priorities based on available information. Furthermore, you should be flexible, have self-awareness, and the ability to distinguish between personal and professional matters.
This is what you will work with
At our emergency care unit, nurses, nursing assistants, and emergency doctors work together to take care of patients who come in through the emergency department or ambulance. We primarily handle acute medical conditions in adults and children. Our mission is to assess and treat acute medical conditions or to care for patients before transport to another level of care. We have two care places where we provide intermediate care, HIA care, and shorter interventions of intensive care.
We are a knowledge-thirsty organization and place great emphasis on competence development for our employees. If you, as a nurse with less clinical experience or emergency care experience, come to us, we will set up a personal introduction for you. The introduction consists of theoretical training combined with clinical onboarding with a supervisor. The training is led by our doctors who are specialists in emergency care as well as our experienced nurses in the clinic.

Information about the position
We offer you a permanent full-time position. Working hours include day, evening, and night shifts. Start date according to agreement. Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
