We are looking for

We are now looking for a licensed nurse/psychiatric nurse with a genuine interest in mental health issues. It is advantageous if you have experience in clinical work within psychiatry related to mental health and/or substance use disorders, and if you are a psychiatric nurse or care coordinator. We would also like you to have experience with the Cosmic journal system and telephone counseling via TeleQ. Experience and competence in treatment work, such as CBT, is an advantage.

You are stable and structured in your work approach, you maintain calm in stressful or pressuring situations, and you always ensure to plan and organize your work effectively. It is important that you communicate well with others, listen and are receptive to the other party, and adapt to the situation. You are flexible and easily adapt to changing conditions.


This is what you will work with

As a nurse in the team, you have a central role and contribute to the team with continuity, support, and availability for patients with mental health issues. You work with assessments and evaluations, provide advice, and make medical assessments, both independently and in a team.
The work as a nurse in our psychosocial team is stimulating, challenging, and constitutes the hub of the operation. You work as a coordinator and provide advice as well as make medical assessments, both independently and in a team. You have close collaboration with psychologists, doctors, CBT therapists, and collaborate with other professional groups at the health center and other care providers. The work also includes working in Cosmic and telephone counseling, which are central and important parts of the assignment.

Information about the position

We offer a permanent full-time position. Working hours are scheduled during the day, Monday – Friday. Selection and interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
