About Amalia nursing home

Amalia is located in the center of Kristianstad with good transportation links. The facility has 36 places spread over 4 floors. Each department houses 9 people, one of the departments is for people with dementia. We work in teams at Amalia, and you are always close to your colleagues. In addition to nursing assistants, the facility also has nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, caretakers, cleaners, team leaders, and a manager on site, and we all work to provide our residents with a good life every day!

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with a big heart and a genuine desire to make a difference. You enjoy working with people, have a strong sense of service, and are confident in adapting your communication to the recipient. As a nurse in elderly care, you have the opportunity to take significant responsibility, which requires professional skills, good prioritization ability, and flexibility.

Right now, we have a particular need for nurses who can work weekends and perform point interventions, such as IV connections at specific times. If you can support us with this, you are warmly welcome to get in touch!

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed nurse.
• Has good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
• Has good computer skills and system knowledge.

Meritorious:

• Previous experience as a nurse in elderly care

Scope: part-time

Start date: immediately/as agreed

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Before a possible employment, you must be able to provide an extract from the criminal record. You also need to be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EES or a valid work permit.
