We are looking for a Purchasing Consultant – Indirect Procurement at 50% for an interim assignment until May 2026. The assignment aims to strengthen categories within indirect procurement by acting as a link between strategic and operational procurement, with a particular focus on project procurement. The role may also include tasks such as updating master data in the procurement system Coupa and consolidating and developing the supplier base.

The Challenge

In this role, you will work with the entire process around indirect procurement, from project initiation and supplier contact to the implementation of strategies and follow-up. You will, among other things:

• Lead and drive procurement projects related to MRO materials and projects within Facility & Construction.
• Identify and follow up on savings opportunities within the organization.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of master data in the procurement system.

You will also work closely with strategic procurement, operational procurement, production, and maintenance to ensure effective, sustainable, and long-term procurement solutions.

Who are you?

• Experience in indirect procurement, preferably within MRO, Facility & Construction, or related technical categories.
• Strong project management skills and experience in driving procurement projects as well as savings and improvement initiatives.
• Understanding of category strategies, consolidation, and supplier development.
• Analytical, solution-oriented, and structured work style.
• Good system experience, for example, Coupa, Maximo, JDE, and an interest in master data.
