We are looking for an experienced planner for construction projects/Project Manager for a government agency in the field of electrical power.
This is a consulting assignment.
The position is full-time.
The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.
The Assignment
In the role of planner, you will have a leading role in the planning work of projects and programs. You will support program and project managers in establishing and maintaining clear and project-adapted schedules from project start to project completion. You will belong to the project and program support unit, which currently consists of 25 people in various support functions, whose mission is to support the progress and delivery of our programs and projects.
The assignment is intended to be performed by a resource consultant (a service performed by a consultant to provide reinforcement to the agency in the ongoing work carried out by the agency.
Responsibilities:
In the role of planner, you will work together with the program or project manager to develop and maintain clear schedules at the project and program level. In your role, you will have a leading function in the planning work of the programs and will be part of the program team where you support the program and its associated project in maintaining updated schedules. As a planner, you will identify the critical elements in the schedule and communicate this to the agency's contractors and internally to management through the project manager.
The position will also include:
- continuous scheduling meetings with investigation leaders, project managers, program leaders, and contractors
- compilation and presentation of status reports
- review of contractors' schedules during bid reviews
- drive or assist in work with uncertainty analysis of schedules
Requirements (Note, mandatory)
Fluent Swedish in speech and writing.
At least 4 years of work experience in the role of planner in construction projects/infrastructure projects or programs
At least 4 years of work experience with the planning tool MS Project or equivalent
Desirable
At least three years of experience with project management models or project management methodology
Project management certification such as PMP or IPMA
At least two years of experience in scheduling work during the contracting phase or in the early stages of complex infrastructure projects
At least one year of experience leading work with Monte Carlo simulation and uncertainty analysis of schedules
