As a service technician, you belong to the Secure Power department, which focuses on uninterruptible power and cooling systems for critical facilities, as well as control and monitoring of technical equipment. Together with your team of other cooling and UPS technicians, you have a varied role where you act as an expert in refrigeration technology, with a particular focus on operation and maintenance. Job responsibilities

In the role of service technician, you are responsible for the installation and maintenance of customer equipment, which includes installation, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair to ensure optimal performance and reliability. You provide qualified technical support for both Schneider Electric's products and competing equipment, helping customers solve their challenges effectively. You share your knowledge and expertise with team members and contribute to a culture characterized by learning and collaboration. You carefully follow all safety and cybersecurity policies and ensure that all work is performed with the utmost respect for safety guidelines. In contact with customers, you analyze equipment failures, interpret maintenance manuals, and communicate solutions clearly and professionally.

As a service technician, you primarily work from home and operate largely independently but with continuous contact with customers and colleagues. You collaborate closely with the team's planners and other technicians in the team as well as technical support to plan and optimize service efforts. The position is primarily based in Stockholm and includes regular travel to Falun and other parts of the country.

Education, experience, and personal qualities

• Refrigeration certification

• Relevant educational background, such as a vocational degree in electronics, electrical engineering, mechanics, or a similar field, or equivalent experience from the workforce.

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role as a technician

• Knowledge of refrigeration technology in commissioning, service, or troubleshooting

• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form
