We are now looking for a service engineer for AVL List Nordiska, a leading company in instrumentation and testing systems.

AVL List Nordiska is part of AVL, a global technology company that is world-leading in the development, simulation, and testing of powertrains, from internal combustion engines and hybrid solutions to electric drive and battery technology. In Sweden, they work with advanced instrumentation and testing systems for the automotive industry.

About the role

As a service engineer, you will be part of an experienced service team responsible for ensuring that engine testing facilities operate safely and efficiently. The work is varied and involves both advanced technical tasks and practical work in testing environments.

Your responsibilities include:

• Service and calibration of measuring equipment
• Troubleshooting in advanced test cells where engines are tested
• Ensuring smooth operation and providing support in direct dialogue with the customer
• Practical tasks such as cable maintenance and organization in the workspace. 

We are looking for someone who

• Has education in electronics or relevant experience from automotive electrical systems, such as car or truck workshops
• Has basic electrical knowledge (automotive electrical or electronics)
• Speaks and writes English fluently
• Has good computer skills and basic knowledge of Excel

It is an advantage if you also have experience from workshop environments, knowledge in measurement technology or testing equipment, advanced Excel skills, familiarity with PLC systems, or completed electrical safety training.

• Start: By agreement, as soon as possible
• Employment form: Consulting assignment via A-hub for 6 months, with a strong possibility of permanent employment at AVL
