In the welfare administration, approximately 2500 employees work. We are looking for a nurse who can lead the work of educating and implementing the BPSD register within the welfare administration, initially within special housing.

Job Responsibilities

The position involves a permanent employment as a nurse in Örnsköldsvik municipality, welfare administration, with a fixed-term assignment to work with BPSD during 2025 and 2026 with the possibility of extension. Nursing duties in the operation are relevant during the summer and at other times of the year by agreement. The job responsibilities also include being a support person in the implementation process with the register.

Qualifications

You are a licensed nurse with very good knowledge of dementia diseases and BPSD. It is an advantage if you are experienced in conducting training sessions. Previous experience working with the BPSD register and/or being a certified trainer in BPSD is also an advantage.

As a person, you are flexible, independent, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. You have good collaboration skills, are not afraid to take the initiative to develop the operation. You are also structured and have good planning skills and a proactive work approach. To succeed in the role, it is important that you have good communication skills and can easily adapt to new situations.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

A valid driver's license category B is required.
