Familjen is a safe and committed employer with over 10 years of experience in personal assistance for children, adolescents, and adults with disabilities. We work person-centered, meaning that you as an individual are seen and acknowledged in our operations, whether you are working, a relative, or receiving assistance.

We also collaborate with self-employers in personal assistance. We offer financial and other administrative solutions that we tailor together to meet each individual's different needs. All collaborations occur with employers linked to collective agreements, and therefore we can together offer secure and stable employment.

We operate and have clients throughout Sweden, from north to south, but our office is located in Stockholm. We choose to be the slightly smaller and more personal choice for those seeking a more personal assistance.

The company's founder and owner have previously worked as a personal assistant, which we see as an extra strength that helps us build stable workgroups where we deliver high-quality, person-centered assistance.

We are looking for a female personal assistant PART-TIME for a woman living in ÖSTERÅKER (Åkersberga).

We are always very careful about whom we hire - but for this group, we take it a step further and only hire individuals who qualify according to the criteria below.

About the workplace

The advertisement concerns a person with autism and developmental disabilities living in their own apartment near public transport, making it easy to get to/from work. The person's daily life is characterized by security and stability, and we enjoy going on various outings together. The person has double assistance around the clock, and the schedule is built on 24-hour shifts. Here, routines are important, and the understanding that the client's needs are the focus is what drives the entire daily life.

About the employment

The position entails a fixed schedule part-time (55 hours/month). There is an opportunity for more hours during vacations and other leave. In this workplace, we work 24-hour shifts (from 10:00 AM to 10:00 AM) with a distribution of both awake night and on-call. 24-hour shifts provide better continuity for both the client and the employee and allow for a more cohesive time off, which can suit many different types of life puzzles.

Requirements

Due to the nature of the work, it is required that you speak and understand Swedish fluently.

It is highly meritorious if you have previous experience with autism and low-arousal approaches. However, we always prioritize personal chemistry with the client and the workgroup.
