Job Description

We are currently looking for form builders for a client in Västerås. 

Are you a meticulous and practical person who enjoys a job where no day is the same? With our client, you will work on unique projects every day, far from the monotonous assembly line. We are now looking for a responsible and self-driven production worker who wants to become a key person with our client and build the concrete elements of the future.

As a form builder with our client, you will be involved in the entire process – from drawing to finished product. Your work requires both precision and efficiency, as you work with small tolerances at the millimeter level under a sometimes tight schedule. You will work at different stations and learn several tasks, making the role both varied and developing.

Responsibilities

Your main tasks:

• Read and interpret unique drawings for each new project.
• Build and assemble forms with high precision.
• Install embedded parts and prepare for casting.
• Participate in the casting process: pouring concrete, measuring, scraping, and vibrating.
• Perform ongoing maintenance and ensure order and cleanliness at your workstation.

Requirements for the position:

• Reading drawings: You must have a very good ability to read, understand, and work according to technical drawings.
• Personal qualities: You are self-driven, flexible, and have a high degree of accuracy. You are responsible and have a strong desire to learn and develop.
• Physical fitness: The job requires good physical condition as heavy lifting and uncomfortable working positions (e.g., working on knees) occur daily.
• Working hours: You should be able to work both daytime and two shifts.
• Language: You must be fluent in Swedish as this is the corporate language. You also need to have basic knowledge of English.

We consider it a strong merit if you have:

• Experience: Previous experience in assembly work, concrete work, or other relevant heavy work.
• Education: Relevant education in concrete work or similar.
• Certificates: Forklift license and/or overhead crane license.
• Background: We have good experiences with candidates from the armed forces or team sports, as discipline and teamwork skills are highly valued.
