We are looking for a technical resource for a consulting assignment within the maintenance of rail vehicles and high-value components. The assignment takes place at one of our clients in public transport and vehicle management. The work involves compiling documentation for component maintenance, developing bill of materials (BoM), and creating price lists for more efficient ordering processes.

The base location is Stockholm, but remote work is largely allowed. Occasional meetings will take place at the client's site.

Responsibilities

• Compile Excel lists of additional measures in connection with heavy maintenance on components.

• Contribute to the development of bill of materials (BoM) for relevant spare parts.

• Develop and clarify price lists with suppliers.

• Participate in ensuring correct documentation of maintenance from suppliers.

• Provide technical knowledge in rail vehicles and component maintenance.

Qualifications

Mandatory requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience in maintenance work on rail vehicles and/or high-value components such as bogies, wheel pairs, couplings, pantographs, traction motors, diesel engines, gearboxes, HVAC, main switches, magnetic track brakes, or compressors.

• At least 1 year of experience in work that included vehicle documentation and/or maintenance documentation.

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Desirable (preferable requirements):

• Technical knowledge of rail vehicles and their management.

• Experience in handling bill of materials.

• Experience in producing technical documentation and maintenance instructions.

Personal qualities:

• Technical generalist with the ability to see the big picture.

• Independent and accustomed to planning and prioritizing their work.

Conditions

• Consulting assignment: you will be employed by us and rented out to the client.

• Assignment period: Start no later than November 1, 2025 – end date February 27, 2026.

• Base location: Stockholm (remote work largely allowed, occasional meetings on-site).

• Scope: Full-time.
