Katrinefors Kraftvärme is an environmentally friendly energy producer located in the heart of Mariestad. We supply district heating to Vänerenergi AB and steam to Metsä Tissue AB's paper production. With Mariestad's growth and the establishment of Volvo's battery factory as well as Metsä Tissue's billion investments, we are facing an exciting future with increased demand for our services.

To meet this increased demand, we have strengthened our operations organization and are now looking for a final operations technician who wants to help shape the future. Your Responsibilities

As an operations technician with us, you will work alongside your colleagues to ensure the operation of our facility. You will handle two solid fuel boilers, two steam turbines, and several sludge presses. The tasks are varied and include supervision, monitoring, maintenance, as well as preventive and corrective service. The work is done in shifts, which means that evening, night, and weekend work occurs, especially during the winter months.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is responsible, curious, and organized with a strong technical interest. You are attentive, unpretentious, and open to change and development. You feel a strong sense of involvement in the business and understand what it takes to achieve our goals. You have your own drive and a solution-oriented approach, and you enjoy working both independently and closely with colleagues.

A technical high school education or similar is a prerequisite for success in the role. Experience or education in energy production, process industry, and/or electrical engineering is an advantage.
