Sonstorps Mekaniska AB is a pure contract company focused on licensed welding of large beam structures, lifting tools, and pressure vessels. Over the years, the company has built a unique competence in welding, project management, and documentation together with its customers. The company was founded in 1963 and is located in Hällestad, just outside Finspång.

Start: Immediately or by agreement.
Working hours: Daytime

The assignment is planned to continue indefinitely, with the possibility of direct employment with the client company in the long term.

Job description

As a welder at Sonstorps Mekaniska, you will perform welding in their workshop. The welding is done in various materials using MIG/MAG and TIG, and the work is carried out according to drawings and instructions. You will work with varying details and sizes such as beams/plate structures, pressure vessels, and lifting tools. General workshop work may also occur, which includes assembly, drilling, cutting, grinding, and service work.

We are looking for someone who

We are looking for someone with solid welding knowledge from previous work experience, primarily in the methods MIG/MAG and TIG. We prefer that you have at least 5 years of experience in similar tasks.
Good knowledge of reading drawings.
Valid welding licenses 136/138 and 141, black and white material.
B driver's license.
