Skilled Employee Wanted for the Restaurant at Scandic Sundsvall Nord

No matter why guests come to us, few things are as appreciated as a friendly face welcoming them. You will act as a host alongside the rest of the hotel team, creating a world-class guest experience.

With us, you will take significant responsibility for making decisions that ensure guest satisfaction, and the teams will develop and improve working methods and service as the world changes. We are convinced that it is when you can develop and contribute all your skills and experience that we exceed guest expectations. On top of that, we have fun at work!

So bring your experiences, your commitment, and your way of thinking to us – and contribute to a culture where we genuinely care: about each other, our guests, and our planet. Welcome to Scandic!

What Does the Role Entail?

You will be the first person guests meet in our restaurant, so it is crucial that you have a warm demeanor and are attentive to details and guests' needs. You have a passion for food and beverages and appreciate order and cleanliness in both your own and your colleagues' work. All to provide our guests with a fantastic dining experience. Your main tasks will be serving food and drinks and managing your own cash register. You will also support the hotel team with other tasks as needed.

Who Are You?

To fit into this role, we believe you have at least two years of experience in a similar position and experience in concept-driven operations. Since the job largely involves communicating with guests, good knowledge of Swedish and English is a prerequisite. If you speak another language, it is an advantage.

However, your personal qualities and attitude are the most important. To fit into the role, you need to be a responsive and unpretentious team player who takes significant responsibility for your tasks and the overall result. It is also important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel’s guests.

Information About the Position:

The position is a temporary employment for occasional days as needed.

We only accept applications via our website. All applications will be processed continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline, so we ask you to apply as soon as possible. In this recruitment, we use a simple service test during the selection process.

We look forward to welcoming you to Scandic!

P.S. On our website, you can read more about the position, our benefits, and what it is like to work at Scandic!

We go further when differences are embraced. With us, you have the space to be yourself and develop in the direction you want, with secure conditions and fair agreements as a foundation. Bring your experiences, your commitment, and your way of thinking to us - contribute to a culture where we genuinely care: about each other, our guests, and our planet. Welcome to Scandic.
