Patients with kidney failure come to the dialysis unit. Dialysis helps the kidneys purify the blood and remove excess water when they can no longer do it on their own. Food is an important part for patients with kidney disease. Here, doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, and kitchen assistants work together. We work as a team and have a close and well-functioning collaboration. The dialysis unit is open during daytime Monday to Friday. Occasional evening shifts may occur based on patient needs. We are a friendly group with varied and fun tasks where you become an important part of the operation.

We are now looking for a kitchen assistant for the Dialysis Unit in Örnsköldsvik. The position is a temporary position at 85% for 5 weeks over the summer of 2025. Entry is by agreement.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve morning snacks to dialysis patients in the form of sandwiches and coffee
• Prepare and serve lunch delivered from Örnsköldsvik municipality
• Typical kitchen tasks such as dishwashing, cleaning, and ordering supplies and food

Training will take place over three days together with the regular kitchen assistant.

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience working in a kitchen or in healthcare
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
