ABOUT GRAND HÔTEL

At Grand Hôtel, we always strive to develop and ensure the quality of our food and beverage departments and are looking for someone with a strong commitment and passion for cooking.

A common theme in all our kitchens is that we place great emphasis on quality and value the craftsmanship in cooking; in all our kitchens, we do as much as possible from scratch ourselves.

Grand Hôtel has several kitchens with different focuses, and we are currently looking for a chef for our Event & Banquet kitchen.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a chef in the Event and Banquet department, you will work in a dynamic and exciting environment and be responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality dishes for everything from private banquets to large events and weddings. Your main tasks include:

  • Preparation and execution of menus and dishes according to our quality standards.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and delivery.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with applicable hygiene and safety regulations.

You will be part of an engaged team consisting of five other colleagues with extensive experience from Event and Banquet kitchens.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We place great importance on having a genuine interest and passion for the profession. Furthermore, we are looking for someone with the following qualities and qualifications:

  • Positive, structured, and meticulous
  • At least three years of professional experience as a chef; previous experience from Event and Banquet kitchens is an advantage
  • Documented chef education or equivalent documented experience
  • All employees must be at least 18 years old and speak fluent Swedish or English

Working hours are scheduled according to our events, which may occur during the day, evenings, and weekends.
