Are you an experienced purchaser with a passion for creating structure, meeting deadlines, and building strong supplier relationships? We are looking for a Purchaser for an exciting assignment where you will play a key role in project deliveries and become a central part of the project team.

As a Purchaser, you will be responsible for driving and coordinating purchasing activities to ensure the project meets its goals for time, cost, and quality. You will work closely with the Procurement Manager and the project team, becoming an important link between suppliers, logistics, and internal functions.

You will:

• Perform purchasing activities according to the project’s plan and guidelines

• Ensure that equipment and materials are purchased according to time, cost, and quality requirements

• Support negotiations and contracts with suppliers and subcontractors

• Coordinate logistics and storage for safe handling of materials

• Monitor purchasing schedules and costs and initiate actions in case of deviations

• Manage and report changes, claims, and disputes in a structured manner

• Provide input for project closure and feedback

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience in purchasing for industrial projects (preferably within the chemical or similar industry)

• Good knowledge of contracts and terms (AB, NL, NLM)

• Ability to handle claims and deviations professionally

• Familiarity with project models such as EPC/EPCM and their impact on purchasing

• Strong negotiation and communication skills

• Structured working methods and a focus on documentation and transparency
