We are looking for a Document Controller for an assignment in Stockholm. 

This is a consulting assignment. 

The assignment is full-time.

The role involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

The client is seeking an experienced Document Controller for the BECCS project. The role involves responsibility for managing and developing document management processes, ensuring that all project documentation is correct, accessible, and meets project requirements.

The position reports to the Document Control Lead and involves close collaboration with Information Coordination, Engineering, as well as other work packages and functions in the project.

Responsibilities

As a Document Controller, you will be responsible for:

· Managing and maintaining project documentation according to established procedures and requirements

· Ensuring proper storage, access, and archiving of project documents – including non-technical materials such as contracts, reports, and correspondence

· Being responsible for version control and ensuring that the correct document version is available to relevant stakeholders

· Updating and maintaining logs and databases for project documents

· Coordinating document submission, review, and approval with various teams, e.g., engineering, procurement, and construction management

· Assisting in the preparation and organization of project reports, audits, and status updates related to document management

· Developing and implementing document management procedures specific to the BECCS project

· Structuring and classifying project documents for easy access and traceability

· Being the contact person for questions and support regarding document management

· Providing existing documents from the SE archive as needed

· Supporting the Document Control Lead in matters related to technical documentation

· Participating in key meetings, e.g., monthly Town Hall meetings, as well as ad hoc and functional meetings

Requirements (Note: Mandatory)

At least 5 years of experience in document management within larger CAPEX projects, preferably in construction or infrastructure. Very good knowledge of document management systems (EDMS/CDE) such as Aconex or equivalent. Strong organizational skills and experience in managing large amounts of documentation efficiently. Attention to detail and focus on accuracy in all work. Good communication skills for collaboration with project teams and external parties. Deep understanding of principles, methods, and best practices in document management. Good knowledge of project management and its documentation requirements. Experience with project reports, traceability, and audit requirements. Very good proficiency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken. Post-secondary education or a bachelor's degree in e.g., Information Management, Office Administration, or similar. Ability to thrive in a dynamic and changing project environment. Flexibility to adapt to new requirements and timelines. Proactive and solution-oriented with the ability to prioritize under time pressure.
