Are you a confident, operational leader with an eye for both details and improvements? Do you want to work closely with the business, coach teams, and drive daily management in an international logistics environment? We are currently looking for a committed and driven group manager for a large logistics center in Eskilstuna.

About the role

As a group manager, you play a central role in daily operations. You are responsible for leading your team towards common goals in safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency. The role involves operational management, monitoring key performance indicators, and continuous improvements according to established processes and management systems.

With a strong focus on the work environment and engagement, you work closely with both employees and managers to ensure a safe and standardized workplace. Your main responsibilities

• Be responsible for daily operations in areas such as receiving, picking, and shipping
• Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with workplace standards
• Lead a team at the second-line leadership level and actively work with training, coaching, and development
• Ensure that the business delivers according to set goals, KPIs, and processes
• Work with daily problem-solving, resource planning, and tactical management based on volume forecasts
• Measure and follow up on key performance indicators, identify deviations, and drive improvement work
• Ensure compliance with work instructions and that standardized working methods are developed and updated
• Be the operational contact person for the customer and participate in reviews regarding SLAs and customer satisfaction

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with previous experience in operational leadership within logistics, warehousing, or production. You have the ability to create engagement, drive results, and work structured even in a fast-paced environment.

To succeed in this role, we see that you have:

• At least a high school education
• Experience leading teams in an operational environment, preferably within logistics or production
• The ability to plan and prioritize your tasks
• Good understanding of operational KPIs and data-driven follow-up
• Strong communication skills, an unpretentious attitude, and a focus on collaboration
• Experience with change management or improvement projects
• Fluent Swedish and good English in both spoken and written form
• Relevant certifications (e.g. hazardous goods, LSHC) are a plus
