We are looking for more technicians for SSI Schäfer, the supplier for COOP Logistics' automated logistics solution at the new terminal in Eskilstuna. You will be an important part of the team working on maintenance and monitoring of the automation processes to keep the system running at the highest possible level.   

The Assignment

We are seeking service technicians for our client SSI Schäfer, where you will become part of a team that is crucial for ensuring that the operations in the automated goods terminal meet their targets. As a service technician, you will continuously work on troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and improvement of machines and robots. You will work independently on problem-solving and take personal responsibility to contribute to improvements. Your main tasks will include:

• Preventive maintenance and contributing to continuous improvements
• Identifying problems and escalating to the appropriate team
• Ensuring that all activities performed are done safely, in line with legislation and site risk assessments
• Supporting the shift leader in developing and maintaining risk assessments and work descriptions for the site

To set you up for success in the role, you will receive an introduction and training in SSI Schäfer's system, which has a unique design and is award-winning. Working hours will be scheduled on a 5-shift basis, so you need to be open to working days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Who You Are

To fit into the role, we see that you are a person with experience in a similar position within a logistics or production environment, or alternatively, an automation technical education with practical elements. It is essential that you have a technical interest and a problem-solving approach. You need to be comfortable working independently, and we also see that you are driven, proactive, and structured. You should have good computer skills and be proficient in both English and Swedish, spoken and written. Work at heights is required.

We would like you to have the following experiences/competencies:

• Knowledge in automation and/or mechanics or electrical engineering
• Knowledge and experience with PLC / Control Systems
• Maintenance (electrical or mechanical)
• An understanding of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
• Fall protection training, forklift license, hot work
