As a mechanic/maintenance generalist within mechanics, in the section Heat Treatment & Formatting, you will work together with responsible electrical engineers and mechanics to coordinate maintenance activities within the facility. The maintenance section's task is to work with effective maintenance and improvement measures to ensure high operational availability of facilities and production equipment. Location: Oxelösund.

The group you will belong to consists of various professional categories and roles within both electrical and mechanical fields.

Your main responsibilities

  • The generalist's focus is to patrol the facility according to a patrol plan and have a good understanding of the current status.
  • The work also involves planning and preparation of maintenance work, and you will work with both corrective and preventive maintenance.
  • To succeed in your mission, it is required to take advantage of and manage all opportunities for collaboration and good communication.

About you

  • High school diploma in mechanics or equivalent education.

Meritorious

  • Experience from previous maintenance work in industry.
  • Good knowledge of facilities and operations.
  • Maintenance systems (as you will work a lot in IFS).
  • Planning and preparation of maintenance jobs.
  • You have knowledge of the Office suite.
  • You are positive, meticulous, and flexible, and you have the ability to solve problems and make independent decisions while recognizing the importance of the team's collective effort to achieve set goals.
  • Great emphasis will be placed on your personal qualities.
  • A valid driver's license (B) is required.
