Your Role

We are looking for an experienced project manager in electrical power for a long-term consulting assignment. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, leading, and executing complex investment projects within railway and public transport infrastructure. The assignment spans the entire project lifecycle – from direction and planning phase to procurement, execution, commissioning, and closure.

As a project manager, you will be a key person in developing the future of public transport and ensuring effective, sustainable, and traffic-safe solutions for a growing region.

Your Responsibilities

Lead and drive electrical power projects within given frameworks for time, cost, quality, and scope. Plan and organize system handling project design and prepare for the execution phase. Ensure that the project meets capacity goals, functional requirements, and environmental requirements. Develop and be responsible for procurement documents and carry out procurements. Represent the client in dialogue with municipalities, authorities, consultants, contractors, and suppliers. Be responsible for resource planning, working environment, safety, and financial management. Report status and ensure ongoing risk management. Conduct handover and final reporting of the project.

Qualifications

Extensive experience as a project manager in electrical power, infrastructure, or similar technical fields. Documented experience in leading investment projects from early planning to completion. Good knowledge of project economics, procurement, and contractual issues. Experience working with working environment, safety, and risk management in project environments. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coordinate project teams. Very good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Desirable Experience

Experience in railway or public transport projects. Knowledge of electrical power supply, signaling systems, or depot facilities. Experience collaborating with municipalities, the Swedish Transport Administration, or similar entities. Certification in project management (e.g., IPMA, PMI, PRINCE2, or equivalent).

Location

The assignment allows for a combination of remote work and on-site work in Stockholm. Having your own vehicle is an advantage.

Timeline and Scope

Start: 2025-10-01. End: 2027-05-31. Scope: Full-time. Extension option: Possibility of extension up to 1+1+1+1+1 years according to the contract terms.
