The Medical Specialties department is one of the largest clinics at Danderyd Hospital, with a significant responsibility for the acute medical flow and the acutely ill patient.

With us, you will have the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the internal medicine patient while being part of a team of dedicated colleagues.

Job Responsibilities

The position involves varied work in the medical emergency department and the different wards of the medical clinic.

In the ward, you will perform regular rounds with patient assessments, daily notes, discharges, and referrals.

In the emergency department, you will take care of the acutely ill medical patient and be responsible for the patient's time in the emergency department. There are always several licensed colleagues available for support.

The work is divided approximately 70% in the emergency department (day, evening, or night) and about 30% ward work. Currently, we staff MAVA (medical acute care unit), pulmonary, general internal medicine, palliative, gastroenterological, and endocrinological wards, as well as occasionally in the infection ward.

Qualifications

Approved medical degree or education approved by the National Board of Health and Welfare from another country.

Experience in emergency care and previous junior doctor positions are advantageous.

We are looking for someone who is self-assured, has good communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to collaborate with others. We place great importance on personal suitability.
