Your Role

As a Visual Merchandiser at Åhléns, you will be responsible for enhancing visual sales and store displays, as well as assortment, concepts, and Åhléns brands. The role also includes responsibility for leading, inspiring, and building VM knowledge among colleagues in the store.

In the role of Visual Merchandiser, you will:

• Ensure that the sales environment in the store is welcoming, inspiring, well-stocked, and sales-driven

• Ensure that our guests are invited to a customer experience throughout the store

• Develop the store's working methods and implement guidelines effectively

• Ensure that the store is always a commercial trading place with a focus on sales

• Follow up and analyze sales

• Train and coach colleagues in visual merchandising

In the store, you will be part of a passionate team of Salespeople, Sales Leaders/Department Managers, and Store Managers.

As a Visual Merchandiser, you will be part of the store's management team and will be ultimately responsible when the Store Manager is not present.

You Bring With You:

• Several years of experience in visual merchandising
• Experience in retail sales
• Ability to drive projects
• Experience working towards and following up on set KPIs
• Experience coaching others in visual merchandising

We are looking for someone with a genuine passion for visual expression and a strong business focus. You understand how visual decisions impact sales and are motivated to create inspiring environments that drive results.

You have an eye for detail, are structured, and good at planning and prioritizing your work. With us, the pace is high and changes happen quickly, so you need to be solution-oriented, flexible, and confident in acting when circumstances change.

You are a communicative team player who enjoys collaborating with others but is also self-driven and used to taking your own initiatives. You combine your visual skills with an understanding of customer behavior, sales, and store operations - always keeping the customer experience in focus.

About the Recruitment

The position is a temporary contract until August 31, 2026, at 38.25 hours/week. We hope you can start with us as soon as possible.
