About the role

As a Machine Designer with project management responsibilities at Plamex, you will be involved from the quotation stage and develop smart mechanical solutions within machine and robot-based automation. You will manage your own projects, sometimes several in parallel, focusing on both customer dialogue and technical implementation. At the same time, you will become part of a strong and cohesive team of four people in design and preparation, where collaboration is close and knowledge exchange is significant.

The work involves:

• Design in SolidWorks
• Setting up projects and drawings to be sent for manufacturing
• Technical dialogue with customers and suppliers
• Supplier selection and ordering of components
• Development of new solutions, internally and together with customers
• Possibility for remote work

We are looking for someone who

Has several years of experience in mechanical design, within machine and automation solutions. You are used to communicating both internally and externally and thrive in a role where you can take responsibility, make decisions, and follow projects from idea to finished solution.

We believe you are:

• Technical, structured, and solution-focused
• Independent but also comfortable collaborating with others
• Communicative and enjoy customer contact, preferably extroverted
• Curious about development, both your own and the company's
