As part of the reception team at U&Me Hotel, you will have a social and outgoing role that always focuses on delivering first-class service in your daily work. Your main tasks will include welcoming guests, addressing their requests and issues, managing the reception operations including check-ins and check-outs, as well as handling administrative tasks such as bookings and invoicing.

Our top priority is always the guest in front of us.

You will be part of a smaller, well-knit team where each employee is a key person.

Responsibilities

• World-class guest reception, premium service, and high availability for guests.
• Striving to deliver hospitality beyond the ordinary in daily work.
• Daily management of the reception, e.g., check-ins and check-outs, bookings, and invoicing.

Qualifications We are looking for someone with a big smile, a positive attitude, and a genuine commitment to the magic that occurs in successful guest interactions. You have a broad understanding of how warm hospitality and personal engagement can elevate the guest experience to a whole new level. We seek a receptionist who stands out with their excellent service and takes every opportunity to provide that little extra for our guests. You are also;

• Fluent in Swedish and have good knowledge of English spoken/written

Meritorious

Experience working in service and hospitality

Familiarity with the Oracle Hospitality booking systems

Post-secondary education in hotel/tourism/restaurant/service management

Experience working in a Best Western hotel

Familiarity with Umeå as a tourist destination

The position is a permanent part-time job at 50% with a six-month probationary period and start date by agreement. The application deadline is September 18, we conduct interviews on an ongoing basis, so the position may be filled before the application deadline.
