Job Description

Since the position is a summer temporary job, we wish for you to be available for work between weeks 23-35. Securitas will assign you a schedule so you can plan your summer with both work and enjoyable activities in good time! Whether you want to work day or night, in a fast-paced or calm environment, Securitas has the job for you.

As a parking attendant in Västerås, you will work with parking supervision on private property. Your responsibility is to promote traffic safety on the roads, increase traffic flow, and improve the livability in residential areas by ensuring that parking regulations are followed. You will have a free work environment but with an important responsibility.

You will, for example:

• Ensure that parking regulations are followed on private property.
• Proactively assist our customers with parking-related inquiries.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Driver's license B
• High school education with passing grades in Swedish and English

Meritorious:

• Municipal parking attendant training
• Security guard training
• Experience in the industry

If you have worked with similar tasks before, this is certainly a strong merit. Great emphasis will be placed on your personal suitability for the position. We believe that you are a service-oriented, calm, and organized person who can handle periods of high work pace. You are interested in technology and have an easy time understanding instructions.

• The position is full-time during the summer period with start date according to agreement. We apply a 6-month probationary period.

For employment within Securitas Sweden AB, it is required that you have passing grades from high school in Swedish and English and are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to the respective legislation, a background check will be conducted. The assessment concerns lawfulness, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information obtained may come from you, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment when evaluating suitability for each position.

Salary and employment conditions are based on the collective agreement between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
