We are currently looking for someone who wants to collaborate with us at Public People in the field of information security, either with your own company as a subcontractor or with a fixed-term employment with us during the current assignment.

As an information security consultant, your work may consist of both strategic and operational tasks, and you should have a strong commitment to information security issues and strive to help our clients establish customer-adapted, sustainable, and long-term solutions. You are expected to be comfortable in a specialist role with many contact points related to information management.

You will be a key person in ensuring secure and correct information management, working in a coaching capacity and providing support and advice to our clients. You are expected to have extensive and solid experience in the field and to be self-driven and proactive in your working style.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will have a varied job and are expected to provide support and be a sounding board for our clients, so you should enjoy a role with many social contacts. As an information security consultant, you are expected to handle complex issues related to the field and should therefore be confident and pedagogical in your communication.

In this role, you will for example work with the implementation of information classifications, risk and vulnerability analyses, information mapping, development and implementation of training within the field of information security, introducing and/or further developing clients' information security management systems (ISMS), and supporting our clients with compliance with ISO 27000, NIS2, GDPR, and other relevant regulations.

You will have a varied everyday life with the opportunity to plan your days together with the client and have great freedom to shape your working methods based on the clients' specific challenges.

Your Profile

As a consultant at Public People, you will face a variety of tasks, all related to your area of expertise. Our clients face different challenges, and you will have the opportunity to support them in streamlining and improving their information security work and information management, both in the long and short term. You can expect a varied and developing role where you will learn a lot!

We are therefore looking for someone who is flexible, communicative, and has good collaboration skills. You are meticulous, structured, and have an easy time prioritizing. You thrive in a dynamic work environment with many contact points and varied tasks. Furthermore, you are solution-oriented and have good pedagogical skills as the work requires knowledge transfer and training efforts. You have extensive experience in the field of information security and are confident in your working style.

Requirements:

• Relevant higher education for the position
• At least 5 years of independent work experience in information security, preferably within the public sector
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
