TK Elevator is growing – and is looking for two strategic buyers for its Swedish team. Here you will have the opportunity to influence, develop, and take a holistic approach to several procurement areas in an international company with a future-oriented vision.

As a Strategic Buyer at TK Elevator, you will belong to the procurement department where your team consists of a procurement manager, two strategic buyers, a Fleet Manager, and several local purchasers/contractors. As a team, you will work towards both the Swedish and Nordic markets and will therefore have a lot of contact with colleagues in the Nordic countries.

You will be based at TK Elevator's headquarters in Stockholm/Skärholmen but will also visit other Nordic offices and suppliers in Norway, Denmark, and Sweden. The procurement volume in the Nordic region is approximately 1 billion SEK.

More about the role

In the role of Strategic Buyer, you will help identify synergies between Nordic units and five newly acquired companies in Sweden. You will work closely with the Fleet Manager and other buyers and report to the Head of Supply Chain and Purchasing, Nordics, who will also be available as support.

The company is on a strong growth journey, and for the right person, there are great development opportunities. Approximately 50 employees work at the Nordic headquarters in areas such as sales, new installations, HR, and finance. They work in the business system Visma, and communication occurs in both Swedish and English. Parking spaces and charging stations are available for those who drive to work near the premises. Breakfast buffet is served on Tuesdays!

Job Responsibilities

In the role of Strategic Buyer at TK Elevator, you will:

  • Be a key player in the procurement organization that is under development
  • Review and collect volumes, prices, contracts, and specifications
  • Optimize the supplier portfolio and seek new suppliers in the global market
  • Work for continuous improvements and cost reductions through expanded supplier collaboration
  • Prepare procurements
  • Participate in and independently drive procurements
  • Follow up and report savings

To succeed in the role of Strategic Buyer at TK Elevator, we believe you have several years of experience in strategic procurement work and are a skilled negotiator. It is particularly important that you enjoy working broadly and see it as a fun and educational opportunity to engage in several product categories and projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

To succeed and excel in the role of Strategic Buyer at TK Elevator, we believe you have:

  • 2-5 years of experience in strategic procurement work or equivalent
  • Post-secondary education in Strategic Procurement
  • Excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Good knowledge of the Office package and Excel
  • B driver's license
  • Experience in the elevator industry is an advantage

Scope and Location

This is a direct recruitment to TK Elevator, with a 6-month probationary period. We hope you can start as soon as possible, but we will consider notice periods. You will be based at the office at Storsätragränd 12 in Skärholmen and work office hours with the possibility of flexibility and remote work a few days a week.
