Wheel Loader Operator to Torsvik – Waste and Biofuel Management

Do you want to contribute to a more sustainable future? Jönköping Energi receives 160,000 tons of household and business waste annually for energy recovery. The waste is transported to our facility in Torsvik where it is weighed and handled in our tipping hall. Through incineration, it is converted into district heating, electricity, and steam – energy that keeps Jönköping warm.

We are now looking for a wheel loader operator (fuel technician) who, together with a colleague, is responsible for receiving, handling, and controlling waste and biofuel inside and outside the tipping hall.

Your Responsibilities

• Direct and unload incoming waste transports
• Perform quality checks of received waste
• Load bottom ash and scrap
• Internal lifting and moving tasks using a wheel loader
• Ensure that machines are maintained, follow service programs, and report faults to the maintenance department or supplier as needed

Qualifications

• Machine operator license: truck B1 and wheel loader C2
• Experience in similar work is an advantage
• Driving license B
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English
• High school education
