Description

Värnamo Municipality is now looking for a responsible and service-oriented driver for our internal courier service in the postal and printing operations.

As a driver, you play an important role in ensuring safe, punctual, and professional transportation between the municipality's operations.

Responsibilities

In the role of driver, the following tasks are included:

• Pick up and deliver mail and smaller packages within the municipality's operations. The job involves approximately 40 stops per day within a 15-mile radius.
• Sorting and stamping of internal and external mail.
• Responsible for the vehicle's maintenance, supervision, and minor repairs.
• Daily physical work, including lifting and movement.
• Provide a good reception and high service.
• Follow traffic rules, safety regulations, and internal procedures.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a valid B driver's license.
• Has good driving experience and safe driving behavior.
• Masters the Swedish language - fluent in speech and writing.
• Can handle stress without compromising safety or quality.
• Is responsible, punctual, and service-oriented.
• Has good teamwork skills and a professional attitude.

Meritorious

• Experience in similar work within the municipality or public sector.
• Local knowledge is an advantage.

Conditions

The position is a temporary contract for about 5 months.
