About us

At the surgical department, we provide highly specialized ophthalmic care and perform approximately 10,000 eye surgeries each year, of which 3,000 are under anesthesia. Currently, we have nine operating rooms where we perform surgeries for cataracts, retina, plastic surgery, oncology, and strabismus, as well as corneal transplants. We perform all aspects of ophthalmic care and work with the latest technology.

We care for patients of all ages from one year and up. The most important thing for us is the patient, to maintain the highest patient safety and quality, and to work towards the development of the organization.

We offer you a workplace with varied tasks and learning alongside colleagues with high competence and a focus on the eye. We strive to provide the best care and treatment for our patients. You will be part of a team of about 40 people.

About the position

As an anesthesia nurse, you are an important part of the team around the patient. Your tasks include work in the operating room as well as development work, on-call duties, and recovery. We offer you a varied job with many different patient groups, both children and adults, in a smaller hospital with both acute and planned services.

Together with your colleagues, you will be part of a team of 15 employees consisting of anesthesia nurses, nursing assistants, and anesthesiologists. With us, you will receive an individually tailored introduction, and we encourage professional development.

Qualifications

You are a specialist nurse in anesthesia care and have at least two years of work experience. Experience working with children, pediatric anesthesia, or ophthalmic care is an advantage.

You have good collaboration skills, are flexible, and enjoy working in a team. You are confident in your professional role and have a professional demeanor. We place great importance on personal qualities.

Conditions

This is a permanent full-time position, but part-time may also be possible by agreement. A probationary period may be applicable. You will work daytime Monday to Friday with some on-call duties in the evenings and weekends.
