Mister York is expanding and looking for an Assistant Manager for Töcksfors

Mister York is a growing hamburger chain that challenges the industry by offering what we call the new generation of fast food. We believe that a burger made from quality ingredients shouldn't cost a fortune, and it shouldn't take long to get it in your hands.

Mister York served its first burger in the summer of 2020 from a food truck. Today, we are opening full-scale fast food restaurants while continuing to develop our smaller container houses. Mister York has been named Sweden's best burger chain in several forums, something we are very proud of!

The business is currently located in many different areas in southern Sweden, and we are working hard to make Mister York accessible to all of Sweden, with Töcksfors being next in line.

Are you the one we are looking for?

We are looking for someone with experience and knowledge in a leadership position within the hotel and restaurant industry. Experience in fast food is a plus. You are a proactive person who enjoys juggling multiple tasks and works solution-oriented. You are service-minded, organized, and thrive in a leadership role.

What does the role of Assistant Manager at Mister York entail?

You will work alongside your General Manager to drive the restaurant forward to achieve set goals, which include finance, employee development, cleanliness, quality, and service.

An Assistant Manager is generally described as the General Manager's right hand, where you develop your skills and create the conditions to run your own restaurant in the future.

You are responsible for the restaurant's operations when your General Manager is not present.

Together with the General Manager and Shift Leaders, you are part of the restaurant's management team.

Your tasks include being fully trained and assisting in all the following areas for which the General Manager has primary responsibility:

  • Optimization of restaurant operations.
  • Training.
  • Environment, cleanliness, and health.
  • Sales forecasts.
  • Inventory of stock and purchasing of goods.
  • Scheduling
  • Needs analysis and recruitment
  • Ensuring that the restaurant's product and service meet Mister York's standards.
  • Coaching employees.
  • Financial responsibility - results and budget compliance.
  • Ensuring that the restaurant meets set goals in the scorecard.
