ABOUT THE POSITION

The position includes overall responsibility for the control, operation, and maintenance of sprinkler systems within the company's properties. The tasks involve regularly performing weekly, monthly, and quarterly inspections of sprinkler systems in accordance with applicable regulations. In the role of facility manager for sprinklers, you have a particular responsibility for ensuring that the systems function correctly.

You will also actively work with a systematic fire protection work (SBA). This includes following up on routines, conducting inspections, and ensuring that preventive fire protection measures are in place and functioning as they should. You report any deficiencies or deviations in the systems, take simple measures to rectify faults, and collaborate with other parties as needed to ensure safe and secure fire protection.

The work requires independence, as you plan and carry out inspections and checks on your own. You will work with a variety of properties such as schools, preschools, and special accommodations, which requires good planning skills, flexibility, and a high degree of responsibility. It is also important that you have good communication skills, as you sometimes need to collaborate with both internal and external parties to ensure that the fire protection work maintains high quality and meets the company's requirements.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working with sprinkler systems and inspections according to SBF regulations.
• Documented competence as a facility manager for sprinklers.
• Knowledge and experience in SBA work.
• Driver's license B.

DESIRABLE

• Certification in sprinkler technology or fire protection.
• Good ability to work independently, structured, and communicate clearly.
• Previous experience working in schools, preschools, or care homes.

The position is a permanent full-time employment, based in Västerås. A probationary period applies.

Working hours are Monday to Friday during daytime.
