We are now looking for an experienced Escalator Technician on behalf of our client.

You will primarily work in the Stockholm train and subway environment where your main tasks will be to troubleshoot, install, maintain, and repair escalators and moving walkways. You will perform everything from simple maintenance tasks to more extensive and advanced interventions.

We are looking for someone who is technically and mechanically inclined. You are solution-oriented and enjoy working with advanced technology.

• Troubleshooting and repairing escalators.
• Maintenance and ensuring that the escalators operate according to safety standards.
• Documenting completed work and reporting to the responsible manager.
• Collaborating with customers and colleagues to provide the best possible service.

• You are a trained Elevator and Escalator Technician, or have equivalent work experience.
• Previous experience working with escalators is a requirement.
• Mechanical and technical knowledge, especially regarding machines and systems.
• Ability to work independently and solve technical problems.
• You speak Swedish or good English (e.g., Polish and English)
• Driver's license B.

If you have electrical certification, this is highly meritorious, but not a requirement for the position. If you have previously worked with service and maintenance in, for example, an amusement park with rides, this is highly meritorious, as the tasks are similar to those for escalators.
