Maintenance Technician at Scania IM, New Foundry

We are now looking for a driven and experienced maintenance technician for maintenance at our new foundry at Scania Industrial Maintenance.

Your tasks

Your main task is to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on the machinery. As a maintenance technician, you will work with problem-solving and identify and contribute to necessary improvements on machines. You will be responsible for and participate in, among other things:

• Conducting root cause investigations
• Preparing work tasks in consultation with planners and coordinators
• Reporting in the maintenance system
• Participating in cross-functional meetings with machine owners and suppliers.

As a maintenance technician, you will have daily contact with the operation. You will have a job that is independent and varied with changing challenges. You will implement the maintenance plan and work with reactive maintenance and troubleshooting in connection with problems on machines and equipment.

Your profile

We are looking for a solution-oriented, structured, and responsible maintenance technician with a good ability to collaborate with others. To succeed in this role, you have the ability to work both independently and in a team. You see no obstacles in working at a fast pace and view problem-solving as a challenge. We see that you have a couple of years of experience as a maintenance technician or similar.

We also see that you have:

• A technical education, secondary school or higher
• Alternatively, equivalent professional experience
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

As Scania's production operates around the clock, you have no problem working shifts.
