Warehouse / Logistics Manager at Extrem Events in Östersund (100%)

As a Warehouse/Logistics Manager with us, you will play a key role in ensuring the success of our events. You will be responsible for organizing and managing our scaffolding and tent materials, and ensuring that everything is in the right place at the right time. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will be crucial to keeping our projects on track.

About Extrem Events: Extrem Events was founded in 2003 by Janne and Zenita Norberg. Since its inception, we have worked on both large and small events, including the Alpine World Ski Championships in Åre and the Biathlon World Championships in Östersund. We operate year-round with Sweden and Norway as our workplace. Currently, we are delivering to the Ski World Championships in Trondheim.

Responsibilities: This position is not an office job, but a practical and active role. As a warehouse manager with us, you will learn everything about our scaffolding and tent materials. You will be responsible for many different parts of the warehouse and ensure that the right item goes to the right place. Your main tasks include:

• Load and unload materials from trucks
• Pack materials for projects and unpack for returns
• Create packing lists and ensure the correct materials are delivered
• Plan and structure tasks in the warehouse
• Take care of inventory and ensure they are intact and clean
• Handle deliveries and returns in the local area
• Assist in assembly and disassembly in the local area

Requirements:

• Authorization for forklift and truck
• BE driver's license
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Good knowledge of English

Preferred:

• Experience in booking freight
• Computer skills, especially in Microsoft 365 and Visma
• We prefer if you are handy and can do some repairs and fixes yourself.

Personal qualities: We are looking for someone with a keen interest in organization and a liking for orderliness. You are responsible and good at communicating. You enjoy having a clean and tidy environment and are good at finding solutions when problems arise.

Working hours: The working hours are mainly between 7-16, but there may be evenings and weekend work when we are working towards deadlines. Loading and unloading may occur before and after our opening hours.
