We are looking for a dedicated, flexible, and responsible organist who:

· enjoys playing at church services and wants to contribute with musical expertise to baptism, wedding, and funeral services

· is passionate about the natural place of the organ and the importance of music in the parish work

· is a dedicated choir leader who enjoys working in both small and large settings and in collaboration with other musicians in the parish

· is willing to take responsibility for the instruments within their area of responsibility

· enjoys combining tradition with musical innovation in their musical practice

· is well acquainted with the beliefs and life of the Church of Sweden

You are a person who is used to working independently and sees teamwork as an important part of your work.

We want to make use of your experiences and interests as an organist and would like to discuss with you the possibilities for areas of development.

Main responsibilities

· Church services and religious ceremonies mainly in Härnösand Cathedral parish, but service in the parish's other congregations may occur.

· Assist the cathedral organist in sharing responsibility for the music activities in Härnösand Cathedral, such as organizing music services, concerts, and leading the adult choir.

· Children's and youth choir.

Other

Church musician qualification B, organist in the Church of Sweden is a requirement.

Driver's license B and access to own car are required.

The position is a permanent employment, with a probationary period possible.
